There is an incremental growth in the abundant amount of students. Students from various districts (especially from the remote place of Lunglei District and Southern part of Mizoram) are studying in the Institution. Programmes offered at present are available to all students. The campus offers a very vibrant culture with opportunities provided for the overall growth of the students.
Physical facilities have been expanded to create an ambience conducive for academic excellence and holistic development. Various departments and administrative sections are housed in the Main Block and Admin block. The college has spacious class rooms, laboratories, seminar halls, Multipurpose Hall and sports facilities.
Library:
The College Library is a gateway to a world of information. The staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of Information found in resources like books, magazines, Journals, statistics, encyclopedias, annual reports and the Internet. Cultural Activities:
Cultural Activities brings out the creative side of the students and the participation and the organization of these are the best learning experience a student can have.
The college organised a Traditional Costume Day in celebration of Chapchar Kut on 6th March to showcase the rich cultural diversity and heritage of the Mizos. On this ocassion, all the students are notified to come to the college dressed in traditional Mizo costumes.
The costumes are judged and there was a selection of ‘Chapchar Kut 2025 Tlangval’ and ‘Chapchar Kut 2025 Nula’. The winners are awarded with certificates and cash prizes.
Students Day Home (Lounge):
The "Student day home" is designed to give students a space for relaxation and study. It is located on the Ground Floor, beneath the Examination Office.
The Student Lounge is designed to be both a comfortable and utilitarian area, open to students for gathering, studying, and relaxing between classes. The Lounge is equipped with chairs and tables, power outlets and other recreational items.
The Student Lounge is open to all currently enrolled students. Students can enjoy charging stations for their electronic devices, as well as a place for gaming, socializing, studying, talking with friends, or simply relaxing while waiting for your next class.
Study Tour, Field Trip and Excursions:
Study Tours, Field Trips and Excursions are organised by the College from time to time. These activities offer college students numerous benefits, including enhanced learning through real-world experiences, increased cultural awareness, and opportunities for personal and professional development and provides a practical, hands-on approach to learning, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
