An agreement was signed on 20.09.2023 between Government J. Buana College and Orion Educational Society for the setting up of a Rural Self Employment (R-SETI) Training Institute on behalf of HDFC Bank. Dr. Vanlalmuana, Asst. Prof. & Coordinator, IQAC, signed the agreement on behalf of the college.
The R-SETI will begin functioning from October 2023 at the college premises. A number of courses will be offered in the coming months, with three courses — tailoring, computer hardware repair, and entrepreneurship development being offered at the initial stage.
