Pi Lalrinpuii, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, graced the Valedictory Day 2025 as the Chief Guest on 30th May 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall of Government J. Buana College. The Hon’ble Minister was warmly received by the Principal, Dr. Vanlalhlani Ralte, along with senior faculty members and the college NCC unit. In her address to the graduating students, Pi Lalrinpuii encouraged them to be open to all kinds of professions, and to avoid drawing distinctions between high-paying and low-paying jobs. She congratulated the outgoing students and expressed her pride in their achievements. At the same time, she reminded them that while this success marks a significant milestone, it is not the final destination. She emphasized the importance of resilience, stating that setbacks should not deter them, and that perseverance and courage are key to long-term success. The Minister also highlighted a concerning trend among some Mizo youth who, after attaining a certain level of education, begin to undervalue manual labour. She urged the students not to adopt such attitudes, but rather to approach all forms of work with dignity and dedication. She further noted that those with higher educational qualifications can contribute more effectively, even in manual occupations.
