Prof. J. ZOREMA - M.A. (History), Ph.D., D.Lit.
Prof. J. Zorema is the Principal of the college since 2010. He is a Professor in History with 33 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience (excluding years spent in Ph.D.). His field of specialization is History of Modern Northeast India. He has numerous publications which include four books as sole author and five books as co-editor, 18 research papers in journals and contributed 12 chapters in edited books. He completed two research projects under ICSSR, New Delhi and UGC (NERO).
He is a member of important organizations/associations including University Court, Mizoram University; Academic Council, Mizoram University; NE India History Association; Mizo History Association; Child Welfare Committee, Lunglei District; Lok Adalat, Lunglei District, Mizoram Youth Commission and several others. He also visited a number of educational institutions as a capacity of NAAC Peer Team.
